I love that I can get spaghetti squash instead of pasta if I wish. We got 3 entirely different meals and shared to get the variety. Never had a bad meal or experience but if I did I know it would be taken care of right away.
IL Primo is in an old market style grocery store near the North Shore, so the inside is small and intimate. They do bring some great bread to the table while you are waiting for your meal and the waitstaff was very nice. Menu may not be up to date. The food and cocktails are top notch and the service and care cannot be beaten.I love that I can get alternatives to pasta and still enjoy the sauces, such as bolognese over spaghetti squash.I was totally surprised with the complimentary black eye peas and collard greens. My friends had bucatini with peas and crab and the chicken picatta. The service was excellent, very attentive without hovering, while the food was tasty, if a bit saltier than usual. The chicken piccata and pork scallopini were very tasty. Prices are found attractive here.
