    I bought this yesterday and have already used it several times. And second, it keeps the loose leaf tea and other bits and pieces out of the tea. I really liked the tea press but after about 2 uses, the ring on the bottom of the middle insert became loose and tea would leak into the space between the outside shell and the insert.

I bought this press a week ago and would have been very upset if I paid full price. Made of BPA-free, durable Tritan™, it makes iced tea prep quick, easy – and ridiculously fun. I will also say it doesnt feel like the sturdiest cup either, i havent dropped it yet but im not sure it will survive if i do.

    • Not to mention, you want a tight seal so there’s no leaking when it’s put back together.But don’t make the same mistake I did the first time I tried to pull the pieces apart. This means I can steep up a different tea blend every day. I couldn’t press the inner chamber down into the tube and when I did get it to go down into the tube the tea not only went inside the inner chamber it also spilled over the sides of the tube.
