I also hadn’t heard about the tourist drownings in Kayangan Lake – bummed that you were not able to visit. I did not know you had Zebras in Coron! The lake is huge but swimmers enjoy an enclosed area of free-diving paradise in the deep waters.

Hence, we’ve decided to have a lazy morning and just stayed at the lodge to complete our packing.As expected, there was a bit of a delay on our flight back. There are also TOUR C and TOUR D, which are equally as beautiful but away from the crowds and to quieter islands. Pick either Tour C or D and go on a bit of a boat journey to some more off-beat locations.

We initially considered a trip to El Nido, but decided it was more convenient to go to Coron (we were a bit hesitant of the 12 hr land trip from Puerto Princesa). The flight takes just over an hour in total and there are several flights every day. In Coron Town you have the bars, restaurants, transport, places to book tours and you are close to Mt. To see all that beautiful nature up close and personal is right up our alley!I am going to the Philippines in April! I just eat for adventure fuel. It really is so beautiful. Most people who visit Coron come for the epic island-hopping. Definitely! Thanks for sharing!Aww.. I love the contrast between the mountains and the see – especially when they rise directly from the surface of water. It’s a crystal clear freshwater lake with unbelievable underwater rock formations. The other locations on Tour A are beautiful beaches and snorkeling spots that will cap off an amazing tour of Coron.After your first day of island-hopping, you will return to the town around 4 pm. Oh, I visited Coron earlier this year and absolutely loved it. It’s easily one of my favorite free-dive spots in the world. I look up to you for traveling 5 months pregnant on such a long trip! Is Coron a good spot for diving? The first leg is Palawan. And those shacks that are restaurants..
